DIY skeleton shoes

All I used for these was some black acrylic paint, some different size paint brushes, a lead pencil and a cheap pair of white canvas shoes.

I am not particularly artistically talented, but these were pretty simple so it wasn't that difficult. Just find an outline of a skeleton foot you like online. I used this, obviously it turned out a lot simpler and less anatomically correct when I drew it, but I was fine with that.

Sketch the design lightly onto the shoe using a lead pencil, correcting any errors with an eraser as you go. Once you're happy with what you've done pick the finest paint brush you have and go over the outlines carefully, then fill in the rest of the shoe with a wider brush.

I chose to paint the sole black too, just because I thought it would look better and left the lip at the top of the shoe white to keep it looking relatively neat. Painting the tongue was a little messy,  but it will be mostly covered when you're wearing them anyway, haha.

I guess you could try painting white onto black canvas shoes too, but you would have to do a few coats and it seems like it would be more difficult.

Now I just need to decide whether black or white laces would look better.
I hope this was helpful for anyone who wants to do the same!

favourite new tights

Everyone say hello to my favourite new tights! The super excellent skull design by Pulp Kitchen, picked up from Dangerfield. When I crawl out of the cavern which is uni-poorness (manage to get a job) I will definitely be picking up a few other styles. They are that ultra fun synthetic fabric, that makes you slip all over the place when cars turn corners. It's a good time! Haha.

most fabulous shoes

I have been lusting hard core after these bad boys for a while now, unfortunately however Australia doesn't seem to have many stores that stock the creeper style T.U.K.'s. Everywhere has their heels, but no one has what I actually want. Thank goodness for internet shopping right? Except that international shipping can be so outrageously costly. REGARDLESS. T.U.K. Neon Green Mondo Creepers, one day you will be mine.

good day, fair stranger

WHY HELLO.
This shall be the first post of my blog, which will contain all manner of things of interest to me.

My name is Clair, and I am an 18 year old Law and Creative & Professional Writing student from Australia.
Colourful lipstick and fashion enthusiast.
Truth be told, I don't think I ever want to be anything.
I thoroughly enjoy horror and gore, so there will likely be a lot of that here.
There is of course much more to me than these simple facts, but it might not be for you to know.
